08.11 Russian Economic Development Ministry Denies Recession in First Quarter of 2015

BEIJING, November 8 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Economic Development Ministry does not forecast a recession in the first quarter of 2015, Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Saturday.

"I do not expect," Ulyukayev told reporters, adding the ministry anticipates an increase of 0.5 percent in the country's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in 2014, and of 1.2 percent in 2015.
