02.11 Luhansk Republic Extends Voting for Extra Hour Due to Long Lines: Elections Commission

MOSCOW, November 2 (RIA Novosti) – Elections have been extended for an additional hour in a number of polling stations in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine because of long lines, a spokesman for the Central Elections Commission told RIA Novosti by telephone Sunday.

“There are still long lines at several polling stations in the LPR, so the Central Elections Commission will have to extend voting for another hour where necessary,” the spokesman said.
