MILAN, October 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is playing an important role in many global issues, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said Friday following the working breakfast on the sidelines of the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit in Milan.

"The role of Russia is very important in many fields," Renzi said highlighting that Russia's participation in struggle against ISIS and Ebola is crucial.
