14.10 Iran, EU Held 'Useful' Bilateral Meeting in Vienna: Spokesman

VIENNA, October 14 (RIA Novosti), Daria Chernyshova — Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton have finished a "useful" bilateral meeting in Vienna, Ashton's spokesman Michael Mann told RIA Novosti Tuesday.

"Was a 'useful' meeting," Mann told RIA Novosti in a text message exchange minutes after the talks finished, but did not specify the details of the meeting.

The Tuesday meeting lasted for some three hours and precedes Wednesday's meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, who will arrive in Vienna from Paris.
