04.10 Young Russian Musicians Enjoy Hague Success

BRUSSELS, October 4 (RIA Novosti) A group of young musicians from Russian gave a gala concert in The Hague on Thursday, as part of a year of cultural exchange between Russia and the Netherlands.

Organizers said their performance in the Palace Church was a great success, and audience members said they were very moved by the performance, RIA Novosti reported.

The musicians, aged 10-16, have won prizes at a number of festivals and competitions. They played pieces by Scriabin, Glinka, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, Doppler, Tchaikovsky and Martinu.

The Russian Gift gala concert was held as part of the Year of Russia in the Netherlands and the Year of the Netherlands in Russia.
