07.09 Policeman Killed in Dagestan Car Blast

MAKHACHKALA, September 7 (RIA Novosti) � A policeman was killed Saturday evening in the city of Derbent in Russia�s North Caucasus republic of Dagestan when his car was blown up, a representative of the local Interior Ministry reported.

�A policeman died as a result of an explosion,� the ministry said. It was not clear if the policeman was in the car or just standing nearby, the ministry source said.
