MOSCOW, September 14 (RIA Novosti) US rockers Metallica will keep its trademark impulsive energy in the thrash metal bands upcoming album, the bands founder and drummer Lars Ulrich said Saturday.
The bands last effort, Death Magnetic, was released in 2008 and marked Metallicas effort to return to its 1980s sound that made it one of the most successful heavy metal acts of the 1980s.
Ulrich said that the band had just started working on the yet unnamed album. Addressing journalists at RIA Novostis press center in Moscow, he said that the new album will present Metallica the way it used to be.
Without a doubt, we will be true to our impulsive energy, the 49-year-old drummer said.
