19.08 Bailiffs Seize 11 Vehicles from Russian Tax Dodger
CHERKESSK, August 19 (RIA Novosti) - Court bailiffs in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Karachay-Cherkessia have seized several vehicles from a businessman who owed the state over 4 million rubles ($121,316), the Federal Bailiffs Services regional department has reported.
Karachay-Cherkessias bailiffs detained 11 vehicles owned by a self-employed entrepreneur from Cherkessk, who owed the tax service, social insurance bodies and the pension fund more than 4 million rubles, the department said Sunday.
The seized vehicles, which in particular include a car, a truck, dump trucks, a tractor and a crane, will be sold to pay off his debt.
