Russian businessman-turned-politician Mikhail Prokhorov believes his party Civic Platform will be able to form groupings in regional parliaments across Russia within the next three years, and in the State Duma, the lower house of Russia's parliament, in 2016. Members of parliament with the ruling United Russia party say Prokhorovs statements are not founded on anything substantial, while political analysts have slammed them as an exaggeration.
